Atex environment
In the (petro) chemical industry, there is a great demand for spark-free solutions for working in Atex environments. For example, crossing out (non gas-free) pipes. But also making holes in the tank wall, bottom or roof. For example, during tank maintenance, it is possible that holes can be made in the tank during the cleaning phase where the tank is not yet gas-free. Enigma has the equipment and the knowledge and experience with UHP water jets. This technique makes it possible to cut steel in almost any application. Whether it concerns openings in a storage tank or cutting a pipe up to 36 ”diameter, Enigma takes care of it.
Our approachUHP
With the use of various UHP tools and robots, Enigma's own UHP equipment can also be used to remove coatings on the tank bottom, wall and roof. The released water and coating residues are sucked up and can be separated by filtration, resulting in a much cheaper waste stream compared to, for example, traditional grit blasting.
